House of the Weimar Republic

The House of the Weimar Republic tells of the events and major changes from 1918 to 1933 and shows how relevant the Weimar Republic still is today - modern, multimedia, relevant to the present. It offers space for exhibition, research, education and exchange. The content is diverse: from its revolutionary beginnings to the new opportunities of the "Golden Twenties" to the crises and challenges that the young democracy faced. And all this at an authentic location: vis-à-vis the meeting place of the National Assembly in the German National Theatre in Weimar.
