Zeiss Planetarium Jena

The Zeiss Planetarium Jena opened its doors as early as 1926 and is today the oldest large-scale projection planetarium in the world.The dome consists of around 8,000 iron rods and measures 23 m in diameter. In addition to educational and family programs, the planetarium also offers music shows, concerts and live lectures. Thus, the Zeiss Planetarium Jena offers impressive shows in any weather and has the most beautiful starry sky after nature. Astronomy can be experienced here.

The Zeiss Planetarium is always worth a visit. Children's and family programs such as "Tabaluga", "The Olchis" or "Dinosaurs" are entertaining for everyone. But music shows or educational programs around stars and planets are also in demand.
